Sustainable Development
My mission is to promote sustainable ways of living across this beautiful planet.
For my youngest audiences, that means helping them to connect with nature and understand its importance through my environmental children’s book series.
For the international organizations, governments and foundations I work with, that means helping to effectively communicate the stakes – what are we up against, what do we stand to lose – and then highlighting innovative, triple-win solutions to achieve sustainable development.
Ambitious? Yes.
Achievable? It has to be.
There is no Planet B.
KIDS BOOKS
You can order the first three books in the What the World Needs Now children’s book series on YorkBookShop.com. We are thrilled that the first book in the series, “What the World Needs Now: Trees!" has been endorsed by our hero Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace.
CONSULTANCY
For the past 15 years, I’ve been writing about sustainability and climate change. This work has taken me to developing countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America, where I have seen, firsthand, the depth of nature’s beauty and the urgent need to protect it.
MY STORY
I’d say my story so far could be divided into two chapters about roots and wings.

“In the face of our most pressing environmental challenges, hope is a choice.”

FROM THE BLOG
My blog is where I share more personal perspectives on the work I do; and it’s often where I include the extra details and asides that can be the most interesting part of a story.
